Come to the wine marquee between 11am and 10pm to sample some of the finest vintage wines from winemakers in the local region.
The wine section of our festival is always a highlight, with local producers given the opportunity to showcase some of their best vintages to the public.
This year, Larry and Angela from Cobbobonee Wines will be sharing some of their favourite wines from 11am to 10pm.
Other local wine producers will also be on the roster, allowing attendees to sample some of the best wines that our region has to offer.
With wine being such an integral part of the festival, and indeed our region, it wouldn’t make much sense to just have a couple of wines on display. That’s why the wine showcase ensures there’s something for everybody to enjoy. Attendees will be able to choose from a complete range, including Cabernet, Shiraz, wooded and Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and even Fort.
If you enjoy delicious wine, we’d encourage you to check out the wine marquee situated off Scott’s Street near the main stage.
If wine isn’t your favourite choice of beverage, that’s totally fine. You definitely won’t go hungry or thirsty. The Wood, Wine and Roses Festival will feature many food and drink stalls, so there’s something for everybody. The kids and non-wine drinkers will have plenty to keep them fed and hydrated as they enjoy the festival.
You don’t need to be a wine connoisseur to enjoy the wines we’ll be highlighting this year. There really is a great range to choose from, and you certainly don’t need to buy them by the bottle.
Attendees will have the opportunity to sample and taste some of the region’s finest vintages in small portions. If you find something you love, our local wine producers will be more than happy to sell larger amounts or even take orders.
One of the most popular spectator events throughout the festival is the annual wood chop. Featuring several stages of competition, festival goers can watch as competitors from the local area and interstate go head-to-head in a wonderful display of strength, skill and hard work. Who will win the major prize in this year’s wood chopping championship?
